THE WORLD WILL NOT PEACE HERE, WHO HIM? ....

Recep Tayyip Erdoğan

born in Istanbul, Turkey, February 26, 1954; age 64) is a Turkish politician who has served as President of Turkey since 2014. Previously, he served as Prime Minister of Turkey from 14 March 2003 to 28 August 2014. He is also a leader of Adalet ve Kalkınma Partisi (AKP, or Justice and Development Party). In 2010, Erdoğan was voted the 2nd most influential Muslim in the world.
Erdoğan was elected Mayor of Istanbul in local elections on March 27, 1994. He was imprisoned on December 12, 1997 because of his troubled poem. After four months in prison, Erdoğan founded the Justice and Development Party (AK Party) on 14 August 2001. From the first year, the AK Party became the largest publicly supported political movement in Turkey. In the 2002 election, the AK Party won two-thirds of the seats in parliament, forming a single-party government after 11 years.

Childhood until adolescence
Erdoğan was born in Istanbul, but grew up in the Black Sea coast Rize and returned to Istanbul at the age of about 13 years in a middle-class family. His father was a sailor who served as a Coast Guard in the Navy and came from Rize. [6]
He studied at the religious school, Imam Hatip School and went on to the University of Marmara to study economics and business.
Erdoğan became a semi-professional football player at the age of 16 years, and worked at the Istanbul freight company.
He plunged into politics with the Islamist Party of Peace (Milli Selâmet Partisi), under the leadership of Necmettin Erbakan and has now been disbanded.

After a military coup on 12 September 1980, he left football and worked in the private sector, and in 1982 served conscription as an officer with a special assignment.
Political career After the 1980 coup, all political parties were dissolved, but former members of the National Salvation Party later established the Welfare Party (Refah Partisi) after democracy was restored in 1983. In 1985 Erdoğan became chairman of the Welfare Party in the Province of Istanbul and participated in the mayoral elections for the cosmopolitan region Beyoğlu in central Istanbul and as a candidate for the Turkish National Supreme Council several times in the late 1980s. [Need a reference] In 1991, the Welfare Party surpassed the required 10% threshold for seats for the first time in the National Assembly, and Erdoğan was elected a member of parliament from Istanbul Province, although this seat was later revoked by the Central Electoral Commission due to the current electoral system. However, in local elections on March 27, 1994, the Welfare Party became the largest party in Turkey for the first time, and Erdoğan became mayor of Greater Istanbul and President of the Metropolitan Council of Greater Istanbul.

As mayor of Istanbul, he became famous for being an effective and populist administrator, building Istanbul's infrastructure and transportation lines and at the same time beautifying the city. In the process he became Turkey's most popular politician. [Need a reference] The prominent achievements that the residents have hardly forgotten are the success of clean water provision for the townspeople, the controlling of the buildings, reducing pollution by planting thousands of trees in city streets, fighting the practice of illegal prostitution by giving more honorable work to young women, and prohibiting presenting liquor in a place that was under the control of the mayor of Istanbul.

When declared the Islamic Justice Party (AKP: Adalet ve Kalkinma Partisi) in August 2001, he was able to bring his party like a light that would illuminate the darkness. His party's victory in the 3 November2002 election with 34.1 per cent of the vote instead of automatically raising its image as prime minister. AKP Vice Chairman Abdullah Gulyang was appointed by President Ahmet Necdet Sezer. However, after all the cases that struck him were deemed completed and approved by the parliament, he subsequently succeeded Abdullah Gül as Turkish Prime Minister.

Turkey Presidential Election 2014 On August 10, 2014, Turkey held a direct presidential election for the first time in 91 years. During this time, the Turkish President was elected by parliament. There are three candidates in the 2014 Turkish presidential election. Turkish Prime Minister Erdoğan took part in the presidential election. The two other candidates are Ekmeleddin İhsanoğlu who is Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Conference since 2005, and Selahattin Demirtas who is an ethnic Kurdish politician in Turkey.

Erdoğan was elected Turkish President of the 12th Turkish presidential election results held on August 10, 2014. Erdoğan won the presidential election with a 52 per cent gain over two of his rivals. [14] On August 28, Erdoğan was officially sworn in as 12th President of Turkey. He was sworn in at the presidential office in Ankara. His inauguration will usher in a new era in Turkey because he is expected to push for a new constitution that can transform the country. The heads of states of several Eastern European, African, Central Asian and Middle Eastern countries will attend the inauguration of Erdogan, including Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko.
